The small, powerful UCO Leschi Lantern and Flashlight is lightweight, rugged, and versatile. Built for adventure, the Leschi is reliable, convenient and shines up to 110 lumens of light for up to 4 hours. Use it as a lantern and adjust the brightness to dim (useful if battery power needs to be conserved) or push the head down and collapse it into a flashlight when you need a focused beam of light. The attached shock cord fits around anything up to 1.5-inches in diameter and makes the UCO great for hanging around camp or to allow hands-free operation. At IPX 5, the UCO Leschi Lantern and Flashlight is highly water resistant. The UCO Leschi uses 1 AA battery (not included). Burn Time (up to): Low, 4 hrs; High, 2.5 hrs; Strobe, 7 hrs; Beam Projection (up to): 279 feet (85 m).     Simply put, this may be the best small flashlight made. PERIOD
    It is small, light weight and BRIGHT. It has a flash, low and high setting and last a long time on a quality AA battery. Not only is it a great flashlight but by simply extending it you get a really good lantern. I keep one next to the bed, in my camping gear, on my bike and recently carried one to my buddy in Fla to have in his hurricane emergency gear.

Since it takes a single AA battery, it lasts longer, stays brighter, and is cheaper to operate than the ones that use multiple AAA batteries. It's relatively bright, but not so bright that your kid will blind you when he inevitably shines it in your face.

    this is awesome Bushcraft light an yea not heavy duty but the versatility is great I've been doing Bushcraft my whole life now I'm disabled I broke my back a few years ago 4 years bed ridden after my whole life years on a farm and staying in the woods now I can't sleep on the ground so much now in a hammock after a year and a half learning to walk and having to for right now having some one with me instead of by myself and I'm on a fixed income so good gear for someone like me isn't easy when I was healthy I was a head Custodian for 20 years of my 25year employment of a school district that they didn't like to teach kids about nature and taking care of it and it's resources(it's about money now days at least that's what the administrators said to me ) these lights are great in Hammocks I love to read my backwoodsman mag before I sleep and in a hammock camping and fishing trip never give up an research gear before you but this is a good buy....

    I am a wildland firefighter and was given this little flashlight 2 years ago. It works great for keeping in a pocket at all times as it is small. I have used the lantern mode many times late at night or early in the morning in my tent. I have purchased these as a gift to some of my friends to use while camping out and fighting wild fire. It puts off good light and I like how it takes one standard battery so going dead is never a problem of multiple battery's or a charging cord.

    I absolutely love these little lights. They are not the best at any one thing but they do a great job at a lot of things. I use them primarily for camping. They do the trick for finding gear in a pack, cooking or lighting up a campsite at night. I really like to tie one to the ridgeline on my hammock and read for a little while before zonking out for the night.

    It's nice to be able to carry one small light instead of several to accomplish the same tasks. Running on a single AA battery is a bonus. It's inexpensive to use.
